About The Position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will execute the firm's recruitment strategy to attract, engage, and hire top legal and professional talent across multiple jurisdictions. This role is responsible for developing innovative sourcing strategies, managing the full recruitment lifecycle, and ensuring a positive candidate experience aligned with Hamilton, Miller & Birthisel's culture.

Requirements

  • Full-cycle recruiting, advanced sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment.
  • Skilled in ATS, HRIS (preferably iSolved), and Microsoft 365.
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication; strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build trust with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Competent in analyzing recruitment metrics and reporting insights.
  • Manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled in offer negotiations and stakeholder alignment across jurisdictions; maintains discretion.
  • Client service orientation, cultural awareness, inclusion, strategic thinking, and results focus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or HR certification preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing tools, and applicant tracking systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts across the firm, leveraging the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to source, screen, and hire qualified talent for a variety of roles
  • Maintain and optimize the ATS to ensure accurate and efficient tracking of candidates
  • Participates in the design and implementation a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy to support firm-wide hiring needs.
  • Partner with leadership to forecast staffing requirements and develop proactive pipelines for critical roles.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff across all offices.
  • Manage job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and offer negotiations.
  • Enhance the firm's employer brand through targeted campaigns, social media presence, and participation in industry events.
  • Build relationships with law schools, professional associations, and diversity organizations.
