About The Position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist - Mobilization supports new business launches and high‑priority staffing initiatives within the Corrections line of business. This role is responsible for delivering hands‑on, high‑volume hourly hiring support during mobilizations, facility openings, and operational ramp‑ups. The position partners closely with operations, HR, and TA leadership to rapidly build talent pipelines, execute local recruiting strategies, and ensure staffing readiness for new and expanding correctional facilities.   This role requires a strong field presence, adaptability, and the ability to execute under tight timelines in fast‑paced, operational environments.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruiting, with a focus on hourly or high‑volume hiring.
  • Experience supporting field‑based, operational, or decentralized hiring environments preferred.
  • Strong sourcing, screening, and candidate management skills.
  • Ability to operate independently while managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and partnership skills with the ability to work effectively with operations and HR teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting field‑based, operational, or decentralized hiring environments preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on‑the‑ground recruiting support for new facility openings, contract wins, and large‑scale staffing mobilizations within Corrections.
  • Partner with operational and HR leaders to assess immediate and future staffing needs and execute hiring plans aligned to launch timelines.
  • Support hiring events, job fairs, interview days, and onboarding coordination to ensure a talent-ready and rapid hiring execution.
  • Act as a primary recruiting point of contact during mobilization periods, ensuring consistent communication and follow‑through.
  • Build and maintain ready‑to‑hire pipelines to support surge hiring and future operational demand.
  • Utilize multiple sourcing channels, including direct sourcing, referrals, local outreach, and community partnerships.
  • Ensure timely candidate movement through the hiring process while maintaining compliance and quality standards.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%.
  • Support special recruiting initiatives tied to mobilization efforts, market expansion, or operational needs.
  • Participate in process improvements focused on speed, candidate experience, and hiring efficiency in high‑volume environments.
  • Track recruiting activity, pipeline health, and hiring progress; provide updates and insights to stakeholders.
