We’re actively seeking a talented (Contract)Talent Acquisition Sourcer to join our Talent Acquisition team. This role can be either remote or onsite in one of our office locations in Newport Beach, CA, Charlotte, NC or Omaha NE. As a (Contract)Talent Acquisition Sourcer, you’ll move Pacific Life forward by identifying and engaging high-quality candidates across key functions to support our growing hiring needs. This is a fast-paced, collaborative opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys building strong talent pipelines. Contract Length: 6 months, with potential for extension Reports To: Director, Talent Attraction

Requirements

  • 2+ years of sourcing or recruiting experience, preferably in a high-volume or specialized environment.
  • Proven ability to find and engage passive talent across various platforms.
  • Familiarity with ATS and recruiting tools (e.g., Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience sourcing within a financial services corporate environment a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to deeply understand hiring needs, job requirements, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Review resumes of inbound applicants + proactively source passive candidates using a variety of channels, including LinkedIn, job boards, Boolean searches, internal databases, and networking.
  • Screen inbound and outbound leads to assess fit and interest as needed.
  • Engage and nurture talent pools for current and future openings.
  • Provide a best-in-class candidate experience through timely communication and a consultative approach.
  • Maintain market intelligence on industry trends and competitor movements.
  • Collaborate on diversity sourcing strategies and inclusive outreach.
