Responsibilities

  • Consults with hiring managers to determine applicant profile needs/requirements and to determine future staffing needs.
  • Focuses on entry level management roles, specifically hiring for Retail and Restaurant Manager Training programs.
  • Participates in and supports hourly hiring at times in select locations.
  • Understands and applies best practices for talent acquisition and participates regularly in process improvement efforts.
  • Identifies best sources of hires using metrics and leverages resources to organize and recruit from best talent pools both internally and externally.
  • Analyzes applications and resumes based on education level, experience level, organizational fit, salary range, projected growth and overall people plan.
  • Interviews and evaluates applicants for positions using phone screenings, video interviews, and assessments.
  • Recommends candidates for advancement in the hiring process based on interview assessments and job qualifications.
  • Schedules interviews, compiles applicant information, and prepares candidates for interviewing with hiring managers.
  • Organizes, leads, and documents post-interview debrief/feedback meetings.
  • Acts as a point of contact and builds candidate relationships through effective communication during the hiring process.
  • Builds working relationships with peers, hiring managers, and in the community for future talent acquisition.
  • Develops and maintains a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified applicants.
  • Utilize creative recruitment methods such as, business networking, social media recruiting etc.
  • Responsible for implementing the overall recruiting strategy.
  • Represent Cracker Barrel in local stores, community events, or job fairs and participates in creating brand awareness.
  • Mentor new recruiters in the workflow recruitment process.
