Requirements

  • 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
  • Effective customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Successful demonstration of full-life cycle staffing experience; including experience sourcing, identifying, and attracting top talent.
  • Experience recruiting for positions to include software engineers, hardware engineers, cybersecurity engineers, radar systems engineers, embedded software engineers, and other technical roles.

Responsibilities

  • The Talent Acquisition (TA) Partner will report to the Talent Acquisition Manager and will be responsible for performing full life cycle recruiting efforts.
  • Must work very closely with hiring managers, engaging as a strategic business partner to assess hiring and business needs and successfully fill job openings in a timely manner.
  • Using a variety of recruiting sources, the TA Specialist will review/post job openings, source resumes from internal and external websites, utilize social media and various advertisement options, identify qualified candidates, schedule interviews, provide benefit information, negotiate salary offers and extend employment offers.
  • Attend and participate in regular Talent Acquisition meetings to discuss recruiting issues and updates.
  • Responsible for managing applicant profiles in HRIS system (SuccessFactors).
  • Develop creative strategies to source, identify, attract, and hire top candidates in a timely fashion and share best practices with team members.
  • Accurately assess candidates for competency and skill fit, quickly absorb candidate and hiring manager feedback and routinely pre-closes candidates to ensure high acceptance rates.
  • Act as a business partner by advising hiring managers on effective interviewing techniques and collaborating with others throughout the organization to ensure a smooth process and meeting required business objectives.
  • Creates and fosters relationships with colleagues and professional organizations to attract, recruit and pipeline critical skilled candidates, alumni, and technical applicants.
