About The Position

Transit Team, Inc. Talent Acquisition Manager – Central Region Location: Chicago The Role Lead the charge to bring great people to Beacon Mobility’s Central Region. You’ll shape and execute recruiting strategies that keep our operations running strong—delivering hires who live our values. Lead the Strategy Own full-cycle recruiting across the Central Region—from sourcing to onboarding. Partner with operations, safety, and compliance to align hiring with business needs. Drive adoption of our tools to improve efficiency and reporting. Grow the Team Lead, coach, and inspire a team of recruiters across the region. Build recruiting excellence through hands-on training and collaboration. Maintain system access and permissions in Workday. Elevate the Process Standardize interviews and job rubrics to hire faster and better. Assist in increasing <90-day retention through proactive check-ins and onboarding support. Pilot and scale AI tools to automate our hiring process enabling recruiters to spend more time focused on human interactions. Champion a best in class candidate experience. Stay Compliant Ensure every hire meets federal and state compliance requirements, including background checks, DMV, drug testing, and fingerprinting. Oversee document collection and onboarding tasks in Workday. Partner with Compliance and Training teams to ensure candidates are ready to roll. Requirements

  • 5+ years leading talent acquisition teams —transportation or logistics experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Workday or other ATS systems.
  • Familiarity with hiring laws and compliance.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven experience with data driven decision making, creating and managing to KPI's.
