About The Position

Jeffrey A. Miller Hospitality Group (JAM) is looking for a full-time recruiter to act as the Talent Acquisition Lead in our Human Resources Department and handle full-cycle recruitment for the 600+ annual hires to staff the 700+ weddings and other large events every year across our 15 beautiful venues in the tri-state area. While hybrid, this role will primarily be in-person at our commissary in Lansdowne, PA from Monday – Friday (with weekends as needed) and report to the Senior Manager of Recruiting, Training, and Development. Requirements

  • 1-3 years of recruitment experience with a preference for high-volume.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MS Teams (or other similar video conferencing software), and with an ATS (preferably Paycom).
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to commute to our headquarters in Lansdowne, PA.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

  • Prior experience in hospitality field is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment for all of our new hires ranging from part-time/seasonal employees to full-time/salaried employees across all of our departments (waitstaff, kitchen, planning, warehouse, and construction).
  • Communicate with hiring managers to figure out hiring needs and organize in-person or follow-up interviews.
  • Execute searches using our existing pipeline of Indeed, LinkedIn, and internal candidates as well as developing new pipelines of talent.
  • Screen resumes, organize requisitions, and document candidate information using our Paycom ATS.
  • Conduct video prescreens over Microsoft Teams, especially during high volume recruitment months for our seasonal waitstaff.
  • Ensure I-9 compliance and conducting background checks and reference calls.
  • Manage a team of 2-3 part-time recruiters during peak months of our season.
