Requirements

  • 5–7+ years of experience in healthcare talent acquisition, workforce development, or clinical education program management
  • Magnet & Clinical Knowledge: Familiarity with Magnet principles, nursing workforce trends, and clinical credentialing/licensure requirements.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and HRIS platforms, and project management tools.
  • Core Competencies: Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills. Ability to influence across clinical and administrative teams, manage complex programs, and drive initiatives that improve both recruitment outcomes and employee retention.
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with workforce analytics and retention metrics preferred.
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Organizational Development, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Strategy: Design, implement, and scale early-career talent pipelines, including internship, and new graduate programs, to support current and future workforce needs.
  • Partner with leadership to forecast workforce needs and implement proactive pipeline strategies that mitigate risk associated with attrition in critical, hard-to-fill roles.
  • Academic Partnerships: Establish and maintain strategic relationships with universities, vocational schools, and community-based organizations to create consistent candidate pipelines.
  • Program Management: Develop and oversee structured development programs that provide meaningful work experiences, mentorship opportunities, and defined pathways to employment.
  • Training & Development: Partner with HR and department leaders to align internal training initiatives with organizational competency needs and career progression frameworks.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior leadership to support workforce planning efforts and ensure early-career programs align with long-term business objectives.
  • Events & Outreach: Plan and execute recruitment events, campus engagement activities, and informational sessions to enhance employer branding and attract top talent.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support the overall objectives of the department and organization.
