About The Position

The Talent Acquisition Consultant is responsible for overseeing the recruitment process, developing recruitment strategies, assessing, and selecting candidates, managing relationships with stakeholders, promoting the employer brand, analyzing recruitment data, and continuously improving recruitment processes to attract and retain top talent for the organization. They work closely with hiring managers and other stakeholders to understand hiring needs and ensure alignment with overall talent acquisition and organizational objectives. They use strong communication, relationship-building, and project management skills, as well as expertise in talent acquisition best practices and relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of training/experience/education required.
  • 7+ years minimum experience in recruitment, managing multiple clients and searches simultaneously required
  • Proficient in developing recruitment strategy, internet based candidate sourcing, developing passive job seekers, developing job & compensation offer packages, closing the applicant required.
  • Highly organized with strong sense of personal accountability and the desire to be responsive/fast when tasked with multiple requests.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present solutions to multiple audiences across TA and within the business.
  • Strong problem resolution skills with demonstrated success in strategic thinking.
  • Strong ability to influence without authority and have difficult conversations across all levels.
  • Experience partnering with other recruiters and working in team environment.
  • The ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel.
  • The ability to pay close attention to details and be well organized.
  • The ability to work effectively under time constraints.
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, the ability to network and build relationships, and a proven track record of identifying and hiring top talent.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience recruiting in the insurance industry preferred.
  • Experience leveraging process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc) to improve TA processes and outcomes preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with hiring managers and HR partners to establish recruitment strategies, assess talent needs to ensure alignment with achieving business objectives, and resonate TA best practices to create a low-effort hiring experience.
  • Manage and drive the recruitment process from end-to-end, including developing individual recruitment plans and sourcing strategies, screening and recommendation of talent, offer negotiation tactics, and proactively guiding hiring managers throughout the talent acquisition process.
  • Manage candidate process flow through the applicant tracking system, while adhering to compliance protocols and established Talent Acquisition processes.
  • Lead candidate sourcing and pipelining efforts for experienced hires (mid-level to Director/AVP) by leveraging sourcing platforms (e.g. LinkedIn Recruiter) as well as networking with business leaders throughout the organization to identify and engage external passive talent.
  • Stay abreast of changes in the external talent market to educate clients and stakeholders, while adjusting tactics as needed to compensate for fluctuations in the broader market.
  • Leverage in-depth knowledge of the broader talent market to educate clients and stakeholders.
  • Support talent branding efforts and initiatives to grow and sustain Zenith’s employer brand utilizing social and digital media, participation in external/community events (i.e. career fairs, information sessions, etc.), and by demonstrating Zenith as an employer of choice through regular interactions with external candidates and suppliers.
  • Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset to drive process improvement efforts related to TA strategies and processes. Stay current on trends and innovative practices in talent acquisition.
  • Develop consultative partnerships with stakeholders including key decision makers within the business, other HR stakeholders, and external partners to facilitate high performance in recruitment delivery.
  • Actively manage relationships with preferred suppliers and ensure supplier selection meet hiring criteria based on corresponding requirements.
  • Support broader HR projects and initiatives including partnering with HR Managers on projects and monitoring progress.
