About The Position

Arete Health is seeking a high-energy, personable, and results-driven Talent Acquisition Business Partner (TABP) to lead full-cycle recruitment across our growing outpatient physical therapy platform. This role is pivotal in building strong pipelines of physical therapists, occupational therapists, support staff, and entrepreneurial clinicians who will partner with us to open de novo clinics. The TABP must thrive in a fast-paced, people-centric environment where relationships, execution, and cultural alignment matter as much as results. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in talent acquisition within outpatient physical therapy or a closely related healthcare field.
  • Established network of clinicians and recruiting relationships across the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast.
  • Strong presence and personality – confident, approachable, and relationship-driven.
  • Deep understanding of today’s recruiting challenges in PT/OT, including reimbursement pressures, workforce shortages, and generational differences.
  • Experience posting, sourcing, and managing applicants across all major job boards.
  • Experience using an ATS required. Experience with Comeet/Sparkhire preferred.
  • Experience attending job fairs and networking events in person
  • Ability to connect with new grads and early-career clinicians, speaking their language and building trust.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently (up to 25–30%) for market visits, events, and strategy sessions.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with experience identifying, recruiting, and inspiring PTs with ownership potential.
  • Ability to work EST hours.

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruitment (sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination).
  • Source clinical and leadership talent with a focus on PTs/OTs and support staff for outpatient physical therapy clinics.
  • Leverage connections with PT/OT universities to engage new graduates and students.
  • Proactively develop relationships with entrepreneurial PTs interested in de novo partnership opportunities.
  • Utilize major job boards, social media, and niche recruiting platforms to attract top talent.
  • Build and maintain an active pipeline of candidates for current and future openings.
  • Live and work in the Mid-Atlantic or Southeastern U.S., with established industry networks in these regions.
  • Travel into markets to meet clinicians, visit clinics, and immerse in local clinic cultures.
  • Attend national and regional industry events (APTA PPS, CSM, AOTA, and other recruiting conferences).
  • Partner with internal leaders (operations, clinical, HR, marketing) and external brand partners to anticipate hiring needs and shape recruiting strategies.
  • Partner with clinic directors, regional leaders, and executives to ensure alignment on recruiting goals.
  • Collaborate with HR, Marketing, and Operations to develop creative recruiting campaigns and strengthen Arete Health’s employer brand.
  • Support cultural onboarding by aligning hires with The Arete Way (excellence, 1% better every day, team-first, servant leadership).
