We are seeking a highly organized Talent Acquisition & Internship Associate to join our growing team in Nashville,TN. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, capable of balancing many tasks simultaneously, understands how to plan and prioritize their work, thrives in a demanding and fast-paced hiring environment, and has a passion for the music industry. As the Talent Acquisition Associate , you will collaborate with the Director of Talent Acquisition and Hiring Managers to support our hiring efforts as we grow our organization. You will also facilitate and oversee our internship program. You will be responsible for facilitating the entire process, from recruiting top talent to creating an enriching experience for interns. This role is key to building relationships with educational institutions, guiding interns in the music industry, and aligning their experience with our company's mission and culture. This position works under general supervision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Music Business, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in internship management, talent acquisition, or program coordination, preferably in the music or entertainment industry.
  • Strong understanding of the music industry landscape
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Existing relationships with music schools and universities.
  • Comfortable speaking with all levels of an organization
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (MS Word and Excel)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • This job is hybrid and requires 3 days a week on-site

Responsibilities

  • Schedule candidate interviews (phone, video, on-site) by coordinating with recruiters, candidates, hiring managers, and interviewers
  • Initial and follow-up reach outs to candidates
  • Serve as point-of-contact for candidates and interview teams regarding interview schedules and changes
  • Greet candidates for on-site interviews (when applicable) and represent our company brand
  • Open new reqs and post job descriptions on our career site
  • Complete candidates reference checks
  • Maintain appropriate, timely tracking of candidates as they move through the interview stages within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and manage our IT/HR orientation tracker
  • Support the candidates onboarding experience in partnership with HR
  • Support various hiring projects, such as strategizing sourcing talent pipeline (via LinkedIn, and alternative creative search techniques)
  • Design and implement a comprehensive internship program that aligns with the company's strategic goals in coordination with the TA Director
  • Collaborate with various departments to identify internship opportunities and create specific roles based on current needs
  • Establish structured onboarding, training, and mentorship programs to ensure interns receive industry-relevant experience.
  • Build and maintain relationships with top universities, music schools, and relevant educational institutions to recruit high-potential interns.
  • Organize and participate in career fairs, university outreach programs, and networking events to source diverse intern candidates.
  • Develop job postings, interview processes, and selection criteria to attract and hire candidates who are passionate about the music industry.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for interns, addressing any concerns, providing guidance, and offering ongoing feedback.
  • Coordinate and conduct regular check-ins and evaluations with interns and their supervisors to ensure mutual goals are being met.
  • Develop workshops, seminars, and networking opportunities focused on the professional development of interns within the music industry
