About The Position

The Talent Acquisition and Engagement Specialist has the primary responsibility of full cycle recruiting across multiple departments. The key functions of this role will be to enhance the employee experience from recruitment through employment and facilitating new hire experience throughout the first 60 days.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Minimum of two years’ recruiting experience with an interest in professional growth.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication, and listening skills.
  • Professional and proactive demeanor, welcoming attitude.
  • Extraordinary work attitude with a focus on enhancing Employee Engagement.
  • Advanced computer skills; proficient in MS Office with particular focus on calendar management.
  • Proactive, ability, desire and action-oriented to foster an exceptional employee experience.
  • Deliver the highest customer service experience to all internal and external customers
  • Ability to be flexible, self-directed, motivated and able to interact with employees at all levels.
  • Strong Professional acumen and able to use good judgment and maintain a high level of confidentiality, integrity and discretion

  • Proficient in MS Office with ability to quickly adapt to new tools and processes

Responsibilities

  • Primary facilitator and driver of full cycle recruiting process. Key areas of this process include posting jobs, conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews, gathering feedback, and extension of offer.
  • Organize and complete pre-employment compliance tasks including background and reference checks.
  • Facilitate weekly hiring manager recruiting status meeting
  • Drive and facilitate the onboarding process including but not limited to preparing necessary documents and orientation guides.
  • Host first-day orientation for all new employees and complete compliance paperwork (Form I-9 & E-Verify, tax forms, etc.), and ensure all new employees have a positive and welcoming first day experience.
  • Oversee the maintenance of various HR databases: Applicant Tracking System and Training platform.
  • Manage and update content on NECHV Job Sites and Career Pages (LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, Handshake).
  • Ensure current and new employees have workspaces that meet the NECHV standards.
  • Partner with hiring managers to update job descriptions.
  • Search for and attend local Career Fairs.
  • Conduct new hire onboarding activities and follow on post hire activity with a goal of positive Employee Engagement.
  • Assist with Employee Engagement activities including recognition and surveys.
