Cape Cod Café — home of the original bar pizza — is looking for friendly, reliable Takeout Counter staff to join our Brockton team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, love helping customers, and want to be part of a local institution, this is a great opportunity.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 0–1 year of experience preferred (we’re happy to train the right person)
• Allergen Awareness Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
• Team-oriented mindset and comfort in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders in person and over the phone
• Ensure all orders are accurate, properly packed, and prepared to spec
• Handle payments with accuracy and cash out with the manager
• Communicate with the kitchen to provide accurate quote times
• Keep the takeout area clean, organized, and running smoothly
• Answer customer questions, make menu suggestions, and provide friendly service
• Report any food or service concerns to the manager
