KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Contributing to cost reduction initiatives for responsible locations. Evaluate Supplier quotes and services. Prepares and processes purchasing orders. Maintains a cooperative working relationship with Suppliers to stay current with trends and technologies, products, and services. Resolves problems and issues arising from purchases of goods, services, supplies and equipment with internal and external customers. Monitors On-Time Deliveries (OTD). Expedite shipments. Prepares documentation for product to be Returned to Vendor (RTV). Actively participate in required training and development programs and electives as suits one’s needs, and support colleagues, trainers, and management as appropriate with these efforts. Other duties as needed.
