About The Position

Unless specified below, specific allocation of hours to various tasks should be articulated in a description of work negotiated and signed by you and the supervising professor prior to the commencement of work. Help with correction of the assignments and exams, proctoring of exams, update of Virtual Campus, etc. Teaching assistant may be required to hold office hours to assist professor with addressing student inquiries and concerns outside of class times. Please note the course mode is HYBRID/INTERNET and you will be required to have access to a computer, Internet, microphone and webcam. You will also be required to come to campus on occasion. All University of Ottawa employees are required under provincial law to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University. Requirements

  • Bachelor, MSc or PhD in Health Sciences or equivalent.
  • Quantitative skills and epidemiology an asset.
  • Experience with online learning programs and software (as a teaching assistant)
  • Experience with web software (uploading content, programming content)
  • Access to a computer, Internet, microphone and webcam.
