About The Position

The T700/CT7 International Contract Performance Manager will demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In the role of Contract Performance Manager, you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, lead contract renewal and business development opportunities, lead digital fleet management product service strategy, and contribute to the overall business strategy. The T700/CT7 long term service contracts are among the most impactful service contracts in Defense and Systems and are critical to international military customer readiness goals. The Contract Performance Manager is the primary point of contact with assigned customers and owns the customer’s experience regarding all contract interactions. Key accounts may include TrueChoice Defense agreements in the Europe, Americas, MENAT, and APAC as well as global T700/CT7 MROs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics, or business from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer and program management

  • Lean Six Sigma certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience managing long-term customer service agreements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing military aircraft maintenance/sustainment (AH-64 and UH-60 preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term contract margin reviews
  • Former military rotary-wing aviator or aviation maintenance background
  • Leadership experience in Military Logistics, Supply, and Services
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to lead programs and projects
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex problems
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
  • Established project management skills

Responsibilities

  • Own contract performance: Lead all contract performance–related activities for assigned customers, typically tied to a customer site, acting as the primary interface between the customer and GE project and support teams.
  • Customer interface & communication: Manage the transfer of information and requests, ensure timely resolution of issues, keep customers informed of progress, and represent GE in business and contractual discussions.
  • Contract execution & compliance: Ensure adherence to contract service, operations, and performance specifications, as well as financial and technical metrics specific to each agreement.
  • Proposal & negotiation: Perform proposal, negotiation, and contract administration functions on assigned proposals/contracts with minimal supervision, including leading renewal and business development opportunities.
  • Program leadership: Provide total program leadership, coordinating GE support functions and organizations to meet readiness, performance, and profitability targets for assigned customer(s).
  • Financial performance: Manage the Contract Margin Review process and associated profitability metrics; establish productivity goals by contract or product; review invoices and drive timely cash collection.
  • Planning & execution: Develop and manage program plans related to contract performance, including contract flow-down, customer shop visit forecasts, and the organization and support of program and technical reviews with customers.
  • Strategy & improvement: Influence the development of strategy for your area of responsibility, recommend best practices to improve products, processes, and services, and stay informed of industry trends that may inform work.
  • Decision-making & problem solving: Use a high level of judgment to handle complex tasks or problems across operations, product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering; assess quality of information, ask pertinent questions, and construct well-founded recommendations.
  • Team leadership: Lead a team of multinational direct and indirect reports to achieve customer satisfaction, readiness goals, and business metrics; guide others and influence perspectives on complex topics.
  • Digital fleet management: Champion military T700/CT7 product line requirements in the development and evolution of digital fleet management solutions and service strategies.
  • Travel: Be willing and able to travel internationally, with an expectation of approximately 25% travel.
