About The Position

We are seeking a highly meticulous and experienced Validation Manager to lead our system and IP validation team. The ideal candidate will have a relentless commitment to quality assurance and a proven track record of managing complex validation cycles. The Validation Manager will be responsible for defining validation strategies, overseeing test execution, and driving continuous improvement in our validation processes. The role covers FW, ASIC, and IP disciplines. Broadcom ’ s market leading products are enabling the next generation of AI and cloud storage.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate a superior level of attention to detail and a commitment to precision in all aspects of work.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to dissect complex system behaviors and identify subtle non-compliance issues.
  • Be an outstanding communicator, capable of clearly articulating detailed technical findings and validation status to diverse stakeholders.
  • Show strong leadership and project management skills, with experience managing projects with multi-site and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Have experience designing and implementing validation programs for new hardware and software products.
  • Drive a continuous improvement mindset in validation methodologies and toolsets.
  • Bachelor ’ s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, and 15 + years of experience in product validation, quality assurance, or testing, including 5 + years in a management or lead role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in test planning, test execution, and defect tracking.
  • Proficiency in test automation scripting languages (e.g., Python).
  • Exceptional organizational skills and an unwavering dedication to accuracy.

  • Master ’ s Degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with complex embedded systems targeting hyperscale data centers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, mentor, and lead a team of validation engineers, fostering a culture of precision and thoroughness.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive validation strategies, test plans, and test cases that cover all system requirements and use scenarios.
  • Pay exceptional attention to detail in reviewing and scrutinizing test results, bug reports, and validation documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate closely with ASIC and IP design teams to integrate validation activities throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Establish and monitor key quality metrics, providing regular reports on system readiness and validation progress to senior management.
  • Lead the root cause analysis ( RCA ) process for complex failures identified during validation, demanding a high level of technical scrutiny.
  • Drive the adoption of automated testing frameworks and continuous integration/continuous deployment ( CI/CD ) pipelines to enhance efficiency and coverage.
