About The Position

In this role, you will be part of the GNSS RF Systems team and play a key role in system level investigation, integration, and validation of GNSS SoC IP from early bring up through product launch in Apple devices. As a hands-on technical contributor, you will lead lab-based system level analysis, implement RF standalone calibrations, and drive validation and characterization of GNSS system-level and RF performance. You will collaborate closely with cross functional partners including RF design, algorithms, digital, firmware, software and platform teams to ensure robust integration and best in class GNSS performance across Apple platforms.

Requirements

  • BS and 3 + years of relevant industry experience.
  • Strong RF fundamentals with hands-on experience in wireless system design, integration, and lab validation.
  • Hands-on experience with RF measurements, including NF, IP3, phase noise, lock time, CN0, SNR, and sensitivity.
  • Proficiency with RF test equipment, such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and vector signal generators.
  • Strong hands-on experience with test automation infrastructure and Python scripting.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience in wireless/RF system-level test development, SoC bring-up, debugging, and performance characterization.
  • Hands-on experience testing, debugging, and characterizing RF/Wireless SoC IP, including receivers, PLLs, amplifiers, ADCs, crystal oscillators, and PMUs.
  • Experience with RF system simulation environments, such as SystemVue, MATLAB, or Verilog.
  • Strong system-level intuition, including link budget analysis, receiver de-sense, and multi-radio coexistence.
  • Experience working on SoC system integration across hardware and software boundaries is a plus.
  • MS or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Prior GNSS/GPS experience is a plus.
