Your Mission is Ours What does this role look like? Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a senior systems test engineer to join the Global Security Future Architectures (GSFA) Ground Team for upcoming work in their program portfolio. The Test Engineer will be joining a ground subsystem team and contribute to the verification of the newly developed capabilities, as well as overall system behavior and interfaces. The candidate will need to have an understanding of test execution within an operational system, as well as experience with software development & integration, and scripting. Requirements

  • Experience within software, information management, or communication systems for Space AND/OR Ground segments
  • Experience performing system engineering, systems test, or systems analysis within a medium to large scale systems
  • Active Top Secret clearance to start with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ground segment development, engineering, and/or verification
  • Prior experience executing operational scenarios on a large-scale system
  • Ability to troubleshoot and navigate operating system environments
  • Experience working with scripting tools (specifically SQL or other related DB scripting tools)
  • Proficiency with Agile development tools, techniques and associated business rhythms
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and work collaboratively across multiple teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills
  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
