About The Position
The Systems Support Analyst - GIS will perform all aspects of updating and maintaining the Company's Geographic Information System (GIS) and related databases under supervision. This includes posting and/or updating features of the GIS database, collaborating with the team to improve process and accuracy of the data model, developing and maintaining automated processes using FME, Python, or other programming languages, producing and creating data sets for internal and external customers, analyzing asset and location data, reporting and analyzing backlogged work to determine cause and resolution, and posting work orders while reviewing and analyzing associated information for accuracy and completeness. The qualified applicant will utilize GIS techniques and applications to provide a better understanding of certain variables in given geographic locations and will have the capability to extract data from GIS software and use varying analysis methods and tools to arrive at results.
