Requirements

• B.S. degree in Business, Computer Science or related field or Five (5) years information systems experience
• Two (2) years database administration or web application development experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Five (5) plus years information systems experience
• DBA/webmaster certification
• Experience in project management

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for the hospital’s database environments to ensure performance, availability, and security.
• Responsible for general management of the development and production web servers.
• Maintain an issues work list and conduct regular and thorough follow-up with interested parties.
• Provide primary support and maintenance for core systems as determined by the Senior Systems Specialist.
• Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. Immediately reports and mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, or employee/patient/visitor injury-accident to the director.
