About The Position

Facility system specialist performs general routine maintenance and servicing operations to maintain the hospital equipment and building in accordance with applicable codes, laws, and accreditation standards. Also responsible for preventive maintenance and daily non-scheduled work requests. Basic computer skills, and good mechanical aptitude with supportive technical knowledge in one or more of the following areas: plumbing, blue print reading, steam and heat generation, and general maintenance . Equipment List: Hand Tools, Power Tools, Computer, Test Instruments, Telephone, Fax and 2-way radio.

Requirements

  • Basic computer skills
  • Good mechanical aptitude with supportive technical knowledge in one or more of the following areas: plumbing, blue print reading, steam and heat generation, and general maintenance
  • 1-3 years experince required
