The Systems/Software Technical Lead - (F130 Electronic Engine Control) will have direct responsibility of leading a team of Systems engineers through the development, testing and qualifying airworthy/certified engine control software. In this role, the candidate ensures that all delivered products meet all program requirements by providing technical mentoring and leadership to the rest of team. You may be involved at any stage of a project lifecycle including the initial brief for a concept, the design and development stage, testing and verification. You'll usually work in project teams with colleagues in other branches of engineering. The B-52/F130 program EEC Systems/Software Lead will require project management and engineering experience, with a focus on Customer integration, collaboration across functional groups, delivery of key engineering & schedule milestones, and meeting all budget targets. The Rolls-Royce F130 is the engine selected to power the B-52J, the U.S.'s iconic strategic bomber. The F130 is the military designation of the BR725 engine, a proven commercial engine which will require some adaptation for integration into the Boeing B-52 platform. Low-rate initial production is slated for 2029, which is proceeded by the integration, prototyping, test and production stand-up of the F130 in Indianapolis. Why Rolls-Royce?
