SUMMARY: The Systems Senior Engineer is responsible for activities related to system administration. This position will ensure long term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 5+ years of Information Technology (IT) experience related to systems engineering, development, administration, and support

Responsibilities

• Define the business requirements for the organization’s next generation of collaborative work tools, which involves working with end-users to develop specifications for the development and implementation of enterprise applications (e.g., Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange).
• Responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and support of enterprise systems.
• Evaluate and recommend associated hardware/software solutions based on business requirements and user needs.
• Provide technical leadership in the design, development, and promotion of selected enterprise strategies.
• Responsible for operating systems software selection and development and continued maintenance of such systems to improve efficiencies.
• Provide technical consultation and support to users and other Information Technology (IT) staff.
