About The Position

Aeronautics Cyber Security Engineering is looking for an outstanding leader to help shape the future of the Emerging Technologies - Cyber organization in Marietta. This is a high visibility position working in a dynamic environment on multiple critical efforts that are important to the overall success of Lockheed Martin and all Aeronautics Lines of Business. The effective candidate will be highly energetic and self-motivated, bringing focus on building a high performing team of cyber experts excelling in achieving Assessments and Authorizations (A&A) for systems under AMMM and ADP Lines of Business in Marietta in support of major program milestones. This position is responsible for daily leadership oversight, technical development of cyber engineers executing cyber efforts across the system development lifecycle, including: systems security engineering, security architecture and design, analysis and assessment of systems and artifact generation to support authorization to operate for AMMM and ADP platforms. This leader will provide programmatic oversight to ensure that Cyber Resiliency Engineering tasks are identified, planned, resourced, and effectively executed to achieve program objectives including the necessary Approvals to Operate (ATOs). The selected candidate will fill a critical role within a dynamic team which includes the F-35 CRE teams, IFG CRE teams, and ADP CRE teams, and in close coordination with the Cyber CAMs to ensure operational excellence. Some travel will be required. Must be a US citizen. This position works in a facility that requires special access and will require a SECRET security clearance updated within the last 5 years and program access to start. Basic Qualifications Experience with systems engineering and project engineering practices, earned value and CAM skillsets Experience leading a multi-disciplined team Engineering or other similar STEM degree with demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills Experience developing and executing tactical objectives from strategic guidance Desired skills Working knowledge of the Risk Management Framework Demonstrated thought leadership in the field of cyber security with the ability to deliver or recommend innovative solutions balancing between information and embedded systems, and business needs Strong communication skills, ability to engage with customer and internal/external stakeholders and leadership Previous experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM) and/or a working understanding of Earned Value Demonstrated experience utilizing Agile and DevSecOps frameworks Demonstrated experience addressing executive stakeholders Current active DoD SECRET clearance (SAP/SAR clearances preferred) Previous successful management experience Demonstrated history of building effective relationships across a broad spectrum of stakeholders Demonstrated strategic thinker and implementer Demonstrated process improvement and optimization Proven ability to successfully assess new technology, associated risks, and risk mitigations illustrated by related work experience Lockheed Martin is an equal opportunity employer. Ability to work remotely Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $145,200 - $255,990. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
