About the Team The Systems Engineering team at Nutanix is a dynamic and innovative group dedicated to delivering cutting-edge technology solutions that empower businesses to transform their IT infrastructure. The team prides itself on a collaborative culture that emphasizes teamwork, adaptability, and continuous learning, ensuring each member contributes to the collective goal of driving customer success. Our mission is to articulate the value of Nutanix solutions to key stakeholders, helping organizations navigate their digital transformation with ease and confidence. This role will be aligned at times to two Sales Reps. You will report to the Manager, Systems Engineer, who is known for a supportive and empowering leadership style that fosters professional growth and encourages open communication. The role is primarily remote, allowing flexibility in your work environment, while occasional in-office collaboration may be required. This position requires up to 25% travel, allowing you to engage directly with clients and stakeholders and the territory is New Mexico, Arizona and Nevada. Travel may include visits to customer sites for proof of concept demonstrations and building long-term relationships with clients, ensuring you have a robust understanding of their needs and challenges. This position is to be based in Phoenix, AZ.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in a technical role with a focus on technology solutions and stakeholder engagement
  • Familiarity with virtualization, storage, and/or data centers in the healthcare industry.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
  • Hands-on technical aptitude with adaptability to market demands
  • Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and strategy development
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience managing multiple projects with detailed action plan execution

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate and articulate the features and benefits of Nutanix solutions to influence customer purchasing decisions.
  • Size, configure, and present tailored Nutanix solutions to meet customer needs and drive business transformation.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, positioning as a trusted resource for technical solutions.
  • Gather and communicate customer feedback to enhance Nutanix offerings and drive product improvements.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives to develop strategic account plans and effective solution proposals.
  • Lead technical presales initiatives to secure wins and ensure successful deployment of Nutanix solutions.
  • Manage multiple projects effectively, assessing urgency and implementing detailed action plans for timely execution.
  • Perform hands-on technical tasks, including executing proofs of concept, while adhering to safety protocols.
