About The Position

This open competitive advertisement is for a Career Service position located at Region 1 Office in Programs and Re-Entry. The mission of the Programs and Re-Entry Department in the Florida Department of Corrections (FDC) is to provide comprehensive programs and services that prepare inmates for successful reintegration into society. This position is not a telework position and is required to report to the FDC office in the area it serves.

Requirements

Must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Must possess three (3) year of experience in computer system analysis, computer programming or in planning or designing distributed computer systems.

An associate degree from an accredited college/university.

Responsibilities

Collaborates with the Regional Program Administrators to manage regional budgets and expenditures related to all technological resources.
Communicates with current/prospective technological resource vendors.
Conducts site visits to ensure the appropriate use of educational technology resources.
Assists with the ongoing evaluation of the effectiveness of the instructional technology program.
