Job Summary: The Systems Network Administrator provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. The successful candidate will manage the customer’s Microsoft Identity Manager and MS SQL environment by performing the following: Support virtual Windows servers in production and lab, support products and technologies such as: Microsoft Identity Manager portal, sync engine, RDBMS, MS SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), VisualStudio, tSQL, C#, understand interactions with Active Directory, MS Exchange, and other customer applications, maintain data integrity and data flow and perform troubleshooting, configuration changes, application patches, OS patches as needed. Database experience is needed for this role (MS SQL and MIM).

Requirements

  • Ten (10) years' experience as a system administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Five (5) years of additional system administrator experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Certification required : IAT Level II or higher, such as Microsoft certifications, Red Hat, Sun, VMWare, COMPTIA, etc.
  • Security Clearance : Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all the client/server/software/devices, etc.
  • Optimize system operations and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
  • Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems.
  • Configure and manage Linux, UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, et al.
  • Build, configure, monitor and maintain virtual environments.
  • Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets.
