Click here to learn more about how this program “Delivers Mission Success!” Seeking a motivated and experienced systems integration engineer to join our dynamic team who can help us discover smarter, innovative approaches to support mission operations, discover new analytics, enhance tradecraft, and much more! Mission Focus: Actively manage enterprise computer systems and networks, analyzing technical issues, and developing and implementing corrective actions. Observe and interpret visual outputs indicating the operating status of systems and network components for designated computer network infrastructure. Translate user requests into technical diagnoses, then apply diagnoses to develop technical solutions to meet user needs. Develop strategies to migrate existing customers to new architecture/technology with minimal impact. Evaluate new technologies or equipment that can be added to Agency standard solutions.

Requirements

  • Must have experience in network or system administration.
  • Strong Linux experience.
  • Experience in systems/network administration, application administration, and/or information technology support or management.
  • Experience supporting hardware installation, such as servers and network infrastructure.
  • Experience setting up storage such as network‐attached storage.
  • Experience implementing security best practices to include PKI certificate generation, deployment and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of Unix shell scripting languages like Bash, Bourne, or C.
  • Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Information Assurance Manager (IAM) Tier 1 certification.
  • Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph to be considered for this role.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience deploying and maintaining nginx.
  • Familiarity with Docker and RedHat Satellite.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing environments like AWS.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) products like Terraform, SALT and Ansible as well as system monitoring platforms like Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Experience with SE Linux and FIPS
