Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Summer 2026 Systems Engineering Integration intern. In this role, you will support the Systems Engineering Integration team with the following responsibilities:

Requirements

  • Actively enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program majoring in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or any other related field
  • Have excellent Team or Customer/Management skills
  • Microsoft Office Experience
  • Extremely organized and self-disciplined
  • Ability to handle a wide range of job scope at once Able to prioritize projects to meet deadlines
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • have experience and/or knowledge in Systems Thinking and have familiarity with coordination of engineering teams and tools with excellent project management skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience delivering presentations in a professional manner
  • Experience with Canva, or other relevant design software
  • Demonstrated ability to develop collaborative working environment across multiple functions
  • Experience with project engineering or project management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and develop effective solutions

Responsibilities

  • Review and drive process changes from the results of the 2025 employee insight survey
  • Assist with Lockheed Martin's Digital Transformation Adoption
  • Help plan, coordinate, and execute employee engagement activities across the organization
  • Design and create innovative ideas for tradeshows
  • Assist with Facilities requests and upgrades as a program representative
  • Assist with Seating Chart development and nametags for employees
  • Help procure invoices, payments, and sponsorships for tradeshows
  • Assist with Overhead finance tracking and expense reports
  • Run projects that support organizational development and growth
  • Be able to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all proprietary information, project details, and internal communications
