As a member of the SIT team, you will be a driving force of innovation and help build the future of electric vehicle charging. This is a 2026 Summer Internship.

Requirements

  • Actively enrolled in a degree program in Engineering, Product Design, or a related field
  • 3rd year student or beyond
  • Experience with shop and hand tools
  • Professional communication skills, speaking & presentations
  • Basic knowledge of engineering and design principles
  • Availability to commit to a full-time internship in a fast-paced professional environment
  • Local applicants preferred as relocation assistance is not offered

Responsibilities

  • Design of prototype parts, test fixtures
  • Design of experiments and engineering validation testing
  • Documenting test results in reports and presenting findings to the broader organization
  • Prototype assembly
  • Creation of engineering documentation in the form of drawings and bills of materials
  • Root cause and failure analysis
  • Active member of the test team
