Overview of Role: The Systems Integration and Test Engineer (Senior) serves as the senior technical authority for systems integration engineering, verification and validation, and formal qualification testing across all Air National Guard network modernization sites. This role qualifies network equipment to technical readiness standards, develops installation planning documents, and validates compliance across installed network systems. Responsibilities include managing the integration lab environment, executing comprehensive test plans and procedures, conducting mandatory burn-in and system acceptance testing, supporting readiness review activities, and producing qualification test reports and acceptance documentation as contractual deliverables. Roles and Responsibilities: Serves as the senior technical authority for systems integration engineering, verification and validation, and formal qualification testing across all ANG network modernization sites. Qualifies COTS network equipment to DoD technical readiness standards; develops Installation Planning Approval documentation establishing the technical baseline for each base modernization site; validates STIG and RMF compliance across all installed network systems including routing, switching, wireless, and server infrastructure; manages the integration lab environment and pre-ship equipment rack-up and burn-in; develops and executes comprehensive qualification test plans and procedures covering all required protocols and services; conducts mandatory 48-hour burn-in periods and post-installation System Acceptance Testing; supports Technical Readiness Review and Operational Readiness Review activities with formal test evidence packages; and produces qualification test reports and acceptance documentation as contractual deliverables.
