Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Integration & Test Engineer to join the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) Platform Integration Integrated Product Team (IPT) focused on CPS installation on US Navy submarines. In this role you will coordinate across the CPS industry and government team to plan and execute integration of the CPS Weapon System onto US Navy submarines. You will be involved in development, integration, and test of the CPS weapon system interfaces, and will also drive the planning of the CPS installations on each Navy submarine. You will work with engineers across the program to ensure success within critical deployment schedules. In this role you will be expected to identify areas of technical concern, engage teammates to develop key solutions, and support implementation of the solutions. This role gives you an opportunity for involvement in weapon system development across the program lifecycle: influencing requirements for new technology insertions, ensuring sub-systems are integrated to meet top-level program requirements, driving lab and field test planning, hands-on participation in installation and shipboard test, and support to certification before fielding. If you are ready for a new challenge and want to make a difference in the next leap in US Navy deterrence capability, this could be the position for you. As the Platform Integration Senior Systems Integration & Test Engineer, you will: Support the Submarine Platform Integration Lead on the CPS Platform Integration IPT. This is a critical integration position working across the Lockheed-led industry team and working with multiple US Navy stakeholders. Engage with shipyard support organizations to define details of the weapon system installation plans for US Navy submarines, and customize those plans based on individual platform features, material delivery schedules, and platform production schedules. Key areas include ensuring shipboard interfaces (e.g., power, thermal, foundation, data) are managed between the weapon system and host platform, driving integration with shipboard mechanical and electrical systems, and developing contingencies for host platform modification based on identified installation risks. This position reports to the Platform Integration IPT lead, works closely with the Launcher IPT, Weapon Control System IPT, and supports the overall Platform Systems Element effort. Works with the System Engineering & Integration Team (SEIT) to support requirements development/verification, interface definition, and model/architecture changes to support system design, testing, and platform integration. Supports the development of the shipboard Installation and Checkout plans, Integration test planning, and Ship Installation Drawings, in support of US Navy integration milestones. Works with the Test and Evaluation (T&E) Element to provide Platform Integration perspective in the development of test plans and procedures.
