The primary emphasis for this role is networking, server administration, system documentation, data visualization, forward-looking cloud integration and development of the Microsoft Power Platform Suite. This role is ideal for a network analyst, systems engineer, or IT infrastructure specialist who is interested in applying their skills within operational technology environments and helping modernize legacy systems into resilient, standardized, and well-documented platforms. The Systems Integration Analyst will serve as a technical force multiplier for BAS operations by: Supporting and modernizing BAS server and network infrastructure Standardizing documentation, diagrams, and system inventories Improving visibility, reliability, and maintainability of BAS networks Assisting with long-term planning for secure cloud connectivity and data integration Acting as a liaison between BAS technicians, IT teams, and cybersecurity stakeholders Network & Infrastructure Support Support the administration and modernization of BAS-related networks, including switches, VLANs, IP addressing schemes, and firewall rules. Assist with server management for BAS platforms, including virtual machines, backups, patching coordination, and lifecycle planning. Troubleshoot network connectivity issues impacting BAS devices, controllers, and supervisory systems. Support protocol-level communication (e.g., BACnet/IP) from a networking and performance perspective. System Standardization & Documentation Develop and maintain standardized network diagrams, system architecture visuals, and data flow diagrams for BAS environments. Create and manage technical documentation, including configuration standards, server inventories, and operational runbooks. Assist in consolidating disparate documentation into centralized, accessible repositories. Support the creation of repeatable templates and standards to improve consistency across BAS deployments. Visualization & Data Readiness Assist with the creation of dashboards or visual representations of system health, connectivity, and infrastructure status. Support data normalization and readiness for integration with analytics, monitoring, or energy management platforms. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify meaningful metrics and visualizations for operational awareness. Cloud & Evergreen Development Support planning and early-stage implementation for cloud integration using platforms such as Azure or AWS. Assist with evaluating hybrid architectures that connect on-prem BAS systems to cloud services securely. Support evergreen development practices by helping transition from static, one-off deployments to scalable and maintainable architectures. Assist with future-state roadmaps for BAS modernization and cloud readiness. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support Work alongside BAS engineers, technicians, and vendors to translate operational needs into technical solutions. Coordinate with enterprise IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure BAS systems align with organizational standards and policies. Participate in technical reviews, modernization planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
