About The Position

As a Systems Engineer on RSP, you'll be part of a cross-functional engineering team delivering hardware, software and systems solutions. This Systems Engineer role may focus on one or more of the following areas: Test & Integration Engineering: hardware/software validation, verification, and performance testing Requirements Engineering: documenting, analyzing, and managing system requirements Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE): system modeling, simulations, and design analysis Hardware-Systems Engineering: design, integration, and troubleshooting of hardware systems
Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor’s or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job-related experience). Requires an additional 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree.
- CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
- Experience in Systems Engineering, including Test & Integration, Requirements, MBSE, or Hardware-Systems.
- Knowledge of systems design, MBSE modeling, and simulation.
- Familiarity with requirements management tools (DOORS, Cameo, or similar).
- Experience with defense, aerospace, or mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities
- Execute systems engineering activities in Test & Integration, Requirements, MBSE, or Hardware-Systems, depending on focus area.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure system performance, reliability, and compliance.
- Document, review, and manage system requirements using requirements management tools and MBSE.
- Participate in design reviews, verification, and validation activities.
