Seeking FT engineer intern who Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelors or Master's degree and should have completed 2 semesters of study in any of the following majors: Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, System Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Engineering Science, Materials Science, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Project) applications
  • Familiarity with requirements development
  • Must be a US citizen

Nice To Haves

  • Strong communication and organizational skills are required to work effectively in the System Engineering department and across functions
  • Training in DOORS requirements management application not required, but desired
  • Training and use of model based systems engineering tools (Cameo) desired, but not required
