About The Position

Join Collins Aerospace as a Systems Engineer Intern. As an intern, you will be part of a dynamic team that delivers exceptional services and goods globally. As an Intern you will be paired with more experienced engineers in performing Systems Engineering tasks. This position is for a summer intern to support the C2BMC with the X-Lab Resource Management Area on the C2BMC Next Program. The selected candidate will be given tasks appropriate for their level and will work with mentors to develop their skills as needed. Coordinate with system engineering team creating documents to configure an experimental lab for test to further the development of C2BMC capabilities. Intern will be expected to work with mentors in developing their knowledge and skillset as needed. No travel requirements.

Requirements

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven track record of collaboration and initiative.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated adaptability and innovation in problem-solving.
  • Prior experience or coursework related to systems engineering.
