At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Systems Engineer supporting the customer, you will be trusted to solve complex IT issues while delivering outstanding customer service. GDIT is seeking highly cleared creative software developer candidates with active TS SCI w/Poly to support our customer by joining a small, energetic, versatile team building a high-visibility web application for managing facilities projects. The selected candidate must be a self-starter, a team-player, be highly collaborative and highly responsive. Candidate will be expected to work as part of a team to architect, design, and build a new system to replace an existing COTS product.

Requirements

  • Experience developing web applications and web services using Java
  • Experience developing web applications and REST web services using Spring/Spring Boot and Java, or equivalent (e.g. .NET/C#)
  • Experience developing with JS frameworks (Angular, React, Vue, etc.) and front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap and/or Material UI
  • Familiarity with Postgres, MySQL or similar databases as the back-end of a web application
  • Experience using containers (ie. Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), specifically in developing and managing web applications in the cloud
  • Experience developing using Agile methodology
  • Demonstrated successes working independently and in a team environment
  • 5 + years of related experience
  • US Citizenship Required
  • active TS SCI w/Poly

Nice To Haves

  • Security clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Experience with customer's enterprise IT services and integration with those services
  • Experience with SQL and CSS
  • AWS certification(s)
  • Experience with Spring JPA, Spring Security
  • Experience with Flyway database migration or similar (Liquibase, et. al)
