About The Position

Under minimal supervision, plans and evaluates application server systems and provides leadership to systems planning, engineering, architecture and the development of technical standards. Provides expert technical resources for assigned information systems or technologies, provides experienced technical leadership in all phases of complex ITS projects, and provides resolution to complex technical problems. Education Four years of formal Information Technology training or education beyond the high school level (e.g. Bachelors Degree). Certification, Registration & Licensure Licensure required: Current valid Driver's License. Experience Minimum of five years related ITS experience and/or training. Healthcare environment highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Installs, configures, and supports complex server operating systems, hardware, and applications.
  • Maintains stability and recoverability of application server systems.
  • Provides technical leadership in all phases of ITS projects.
  • Adheres to established ITS Service and Support Policies.
  • Adheres to established ITS Change Management Policies.
  • Creates and maintains IT system documentation per the IT Documentation Policy.
  • Participates in the ITS On-Call Rotation.
  • Adheres to established ITS Technical Standards Policies.
  • Participates in, supports, and champions the outcomes of ITS process improvement initiatives.
