About The Position

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Systems Engineer to support our Huntsville, AL location. PeopleTec is an employee-owned company dedicated to delivering excellence in engineering, program support, and advanced technology solutions to the U.S. Government. We are seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer to support the US–Israeli Cooperative Program Office within the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), focused on Israeli Test Bed (ITB) simulation software development, integration, and testing. The Systems Engineer will support the development, test, and operational execution of Israeli Test Bed (ITB) simulation software in a product-oriented environment with firm delivery requirements. This role directly supports large-scale ground test events involving sensor and weapon systems across the U.S. and Israeli Missile Defense enterprise. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with experience in modeling & simulation, requirements development, contract deliverable tracking, and international coordination. Requirements

Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) programs
Experience in modeling and simulation, system testing, or software verification/validation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience developing and tracking requirements
Experience preparing executive briefings and technical documentation
Ability to work effectively in a product-driven, deadline-focused environment
Ability to work with cross-functional and international teams
Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Active DoD Secret clearance (or ability to obtain)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting Missile Defense Agency (MDA) programs
Familiarity with Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) architecture
Experience supporting joint international programs
Experience reviewing contract deliverables for compliance

Responsibilities

Support development, test, and operational activities for Israeli Test Bed (ITB) simulation software
Coordinate and execute ITB software verification and validation efforts to ensure accurate test data
Interface with U.S. Government customers, foreign nationals, and contractor teams to support joint test events
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) modeling, simulation experiments, evaluations, and exercises
Develop and refine requirements for joint ground test operations and exercises
Review semi-annual contract deliverables to ensure compliance with contract requirements
Track action items, milestones, due dates, and deliverables related to ITB software and test events
Prepare and deliver executive-level briefings and presentations (weekly, monthly, and annual)
Produce detailed weekly activity reports outlining operational progress
Travel domestically and internationally to support test events and exercises
