The Lockheed Martin Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) team is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to be part of a team developing missile defense technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to adversity. You can learn more about the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) by visiting this link As a Systems Engineer and member of the NGI Weapon System Integration team, you will perform tasks related to the new integration of the NGI All-Up-Round (AUR). You should have a complete understanding of at least one of the key system subject areas with the opportunity to work in all fields to include systems definition, allocation, maintenance, verification/validation, system integration, analysis, and test. In addition, you will support major program reviews including CDR and program events leading up to Flight Test. Participate in Interface Control Specification and other interface documentation development. You may also support missile system analyses in support of mission planning and execution as well as tests at various test ranges. Some travel may be required. As an NGI Weapon System Engineer you will be involved in all phases of the project development (e.g., architecture development, CONOPS, definition, qualification, integration assembly, and test). You will work in a team environment and collaborate with multiple disciplines, program management, and customers to help drive to successful future missions!
