About The Position

As a Systems Engineer, you will design, implement, and operate complex, globally distributed infrastructure that supports secure, high availability, real-time financial services. You will work across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments to ensure resilient, high-performing systems and reliable connectivity across regions. This role combines systems engineering, network awareness, and automation to deliver scalable, secure, and highly available platforms, while driving continuous improvement across infrastructure and operations. Design, implement, and operate hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure across multiple regions Ensure resilient, secure, and high-performing connectivity in partnership with network engineering teams Engineer, manage, and optimize core identity services including Active Directory, DNS, and directory integrations Strengthen identity and access management aligned with zero trust and least privilege principles Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployments using PowerShell and modern tooling Monitor system health, troubleshoot complex cross-domain issues, and drive root cause resolution Design and drive high availability and disaster recovery strategies across compute, storage, and network layers Own and optimize virtualized and hyperconverged environments, including VMware platforms Administer and enhance Windows Server and Citrix environments supporting enterprise-scale workloads Collaborate with architecture, security, and platform teams to deliver integrated infrastructure solutions Ensure infrastructure meets regulatory, audit, and data residency requirements across regions Maintain clear and accurate technical documentation and operational runbooks Provide escalation support for critical incidents and contribute to global incident response efforts Identify and implement improvements in automation, scalability, and platform reliability Support backup, recovery, and data protection strategies aligned to business continuity objectives Ensure infrastructure platforms meet stringent performance, security, and availability requirements for real-time financial services

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, preferably in large-scale or globally distributed environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Strong expertise in Active Directory, DNS, and enterprise identity services
  • Solid experience with Windows Server administration and performance troubleshooting
  • Proven experience with VMware vSphere and virtualization technologies
  • Experience supporting Citrix or virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) environments
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and infrastructure automation
  • Experience with enterprise storage and data management concepts
  • Knowledge of high availability, clustering, and disaster recovery architectures
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including routing, firewalls, and secure connectivity
  • Experience working in hybrid cloud and distributed systems environments
  • Familiarity with modern security practices including zero trust and access controls
  • Experience with backup and recovery solutions in enterprise environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across systems and network layers
  • Ability to collaborate across infrastructure, network, and security teams in a global organization
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly document complex systems and processes
  • Experience operating in regulated environments with compliance and audit requirements
