Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS clearance is a MUST
  • Security+ certifications or equivalent for DoD 8570 compliance
  • 4+ years' experience in Windows System Administration to include:
  • Windows Active Directory, Windows Server 2012/2016/2019, Windows 10/11, and Microsoft Office suite
  • Understanding of Microsoft Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP)
  • Experience with backup solutions such as NetBackup, BackupExec or Arcserve
  • Familiarity with application, desktop and/or server virtualization
  • Maintain/apply STIGs and patches/firmware updates.
  • Experience installing operating systems and applications, applying system and software updates and patches manually and with automation, responding to IAVAs and IAVBs

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a team to identify, diagnose, and resolve problems with workstations, printers, and local area networking.
  • Install operating systems and applications, apply system and software updates and patches manually and using automation, respond to IAVAs and IAVBs
  • Deploy, update and operate HBSS, A/V and anti-malware solutions.
  • Execute scans of incoming and outgoing media, perform data transfers and complete related documentation.
  • Provision and maintain Microsoft Windows workstations and laptops according to existing standards, including creation and distribution of system images
  • Perform user account creation and activation, password resets, privilege assignment, group membership management, and directory access control.
  • Author, assess and update Active Directory Group Policy Objects (GPO)
  • Exercise solid interpersonal skills and technical aptitude to accomplish the mission.
  • Acquire training and certifications that are reimbursed by the company.
