About The Position

As a Security Officer - DoD Clearance Required in Titusville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Professional at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, document observations, respond to calls for assistance, and deliver strong customer service and communication with personnel and visitors. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security experience.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Possess an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A Guard Card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as required by post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, processing visitors and deliveries, and directing personnel in accordance with site-specific requirements.
  • Complete detailed reports for incidents, patrol activity, alarms, and policy violations, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts.
