Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with modeling and simulation in a defense or national security environment
  • Experience with computational analysis, Monte Carlo simulations, multi-physics modeling, model-based systems engineering (MBSE), or agent-based modeling
  • Experience with software development and coding in languages, including FORTRAN, Python, C++, MATLAB, or Java
  • Experience working with high-performance computing (HPC) environments
  • Experience with requirements and risk analysis, WMD assessment methodologies, underground facility analysis, or counter-proliferation technologies
  • Experience in supporting target vulnerability analysis and kinetic and non-kinetic defeat mechanisms for WMD targets
  • Knowledge of DoD mission planning tools and intelligence data fusion
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or Computer Science field

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with tools such as Ansys, Ansys STK, IMEA or similar modeling software
  • Experience with AI or ML integration into modeling and simulation workflows
  • Experience with 3D modeling
  • Master's degree in an Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field preferred; Doctorate degree in an Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field a plus
