As a Systems Engineer on our team, you'll use your experience in information assurance, group policy and account management, virtualization, installation and configuration of applications, system administration and updates, and automation to contribute to a team of engineers focused on deployable systems. On our team, you'll troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues on a training environment and analyze current working infrastructures to understand how to make improvements and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems. Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Systems Engineering
  • Experience with setting up and configuring Windows and RHEL servers
  • Experience with hardening Windows servers, Linux servers, and VMWare using Department of Defense Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
  • Experience with expert-level administration and troubleshooting of Virtualization platforms, such as VMware vSphere, or Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Storage and Backup solutions, such as SAN, NAS, object storage, Veeam, and Commvault
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in applying the Risk Management Framework (RMF), implementing DoD security controls, and supporting system accreditation
  • Experience with performing capacity planning and performance monitoring to proactively address potential bottlenecks and recommend appropriate scaling solutions
  • ​Experience with conducting root cause analysis (RCA) for major incidents, and implementing corrective and preventive measures to minimize future disruptions
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and identity management systems
  • Knowledge of firewall policies and networking switch and routing
  • Ability to assist with establishing and enforcing system configuration, change management, and security policies across the server landscape
