Join us and make a difference in National Security! Job Summary: Leidos is seeking a System Engineer with experience across all phases of the systems engineering lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in designing and modifying system architectures, producing technical documentation and drawing packages, and supporting a small, mission‑focused team that regularly collaborates with users, customers, and other engineering groups.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering discipline and 6+ years of experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years of system engineering experience
  • Strong systems engineering experience, including documentation and technical writing
  • Hands‑on hardware and software integration experience
  • Proficiency working in both Windows and Linux environments
  • Experience using Visio or similar diagramming/drawing tools
  • Basic system administration skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a small, mission‑focused team
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Cisco and Juniper networking devices
  • Experience with Ansible or scripting for automation conmd KQW

Responsibilities

  • Support all phases of the systems engineering lifecycle, from requirements through deployment
  • Design, modify, and document system architectures and technical solutions
  • Produce high‑quality engineering documentation, diagrams, and drawing packages
  • Integrate hardware and software components across diverse environments
  • Work within both Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Perform basic system administration tasks as needed
  • Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, users, and customers
