About The Position

SAIC is seeking a Systems Engineer Team Manager to support their team in North Charleston, SC. The Systems Engineer Team Manager will be responsible for but not limited to the following: Concept of operations formulation Requirements definition Analysis and engineering, system architecting System analysis and design Interface and data architectures Validation and verification Systems integration, system & op Performance analysis Lifecycle cost analysis & estimation Decision analysis and physical configuration analysis (PCA) Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software or engineering specifications Provides specific, detailed information for selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and zero (0) years’ experience; additional four (4) years’ experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Must possess an active Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain; US Citizenship required.
  • Programming Languages: Python, Java, JavaScript
  • Frameworks: React, RabbitMQ, Docker
  • Software: Git, JIRA, Jenkins, Bitbucket

Nice To Haves

  • Part 107 Certified Drone Pilot
  • Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodology
  • Proposal and technical writing experience
