SPP Alpha is looking for a system engineer to join a fast-growing, dynamic program. If you enjoy being a part of a team that requires strategic planning, problem-solving, and is fast-paced, the missions that SPP delivers will suit you just right. We're developing cutting-edge space technologies that are critical to our customers and pushing boundaries of what's possible. As a member of the System Engineering, Integration, and Test team, you'll be a key member in the successful execution of activities of major significance to the nation's National Security Enterprise.

Requirements

  • Systems engineering experience throughout the engineering lifecycle, specifically verification requirements, validation, requirements management, and overseeing design review criteria.
  • Knowledge or experience MBSE concepts and tools (i.e. CAMEO, etc.)
  • Active or Current TS/SCI clearance with Poly; US Citizenship Required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Class C/D space missions
  • Strong mission and end-to-end systems expertise
  • Demonstrated ability to apply systems thinking and critical thinking skills, translating ideas into actions and results

Responsibilities

  • Support of all phases of the program lifecycle (development, production, and post production)
  • Systems Integration, test and other verification activities
  • Ownership and delivery of design and verification products to support major design reviews and milestone events
  • Collaboration across IPTs and program sites with a geographically diverse team
  • Working in Cameo, the MBSE tool used on the program
  • Executing to maintain schedule, and identifying opportunities to integrate and validate early to protect the critical path
