About The Position

As part of Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems business area, our team supports multiple software applications across the C4ISR line of business. This position is in the C4ISR market segment supporting United States Air Force and Navy programs specializing in software and systems engineering under the Weapons Platform Integration organization. As a IT- Systems Engineer across the C4ISR line of business , you will: - Work in an Kanban environment providing support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of various Information Technology (IT) systems, including networking equipment - Manage IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices - Patch, harden and design Windows and Linux (Red Hat) and networking systems with Security personnel to protect against ever changing Cyber Threats As part of the C4ISR Weapons Platform Integration (WPI) team, you will help with the delivery of software supporting multiple programs You can visualize and understand complex systems with strong skill sets in problem solving, technical writing, and communication. Requirements

  • Active DoD Secret clearance (or higher)
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline from an accredited University, or equivalent experience
  • Professional experience with Windows system administration (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS)
  • Strong computer networking skills, preferably Cisco
  • Scripting experience (Bash, PowerShell, and/or Ansible)
  • Experience with DISA STIGs and Security Hardening of OS and applications
  • Light Linux system administration
  • Strong Network Storage skills, preferably NetApp or TruNas
  • Scripting experience (Bash, PowerShell)

Nice To Haves

  • Professional experience with both Windows and Linux system administration
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Agile development experience
  • CompTIA Security+ certification
